Settlement between Hajiyah Khaunm and her mother, 1916
Settlement on July 20, 1916, between Hajiyah Khaunm, daughter of Haji Ghulam Husayn Zari‘ [the farmer] from Dih Buzurg, and her mother, Bibi Baygum Jan (daughter of Karbalayi Haydar), over Hajiyah Khanum's mahr from her marriage to Mirza ‘Abbas Khan, son of Mirza Luft Allah Mustawfi, and all of the dowry taken to her husband's house, for some crystal candy and one hundred dinars. On the margin, Hajiyah Khanum's father has confirmed this settlement and has sealed it.

Marriage contract of Safiyah Khanum, the daughter of Karbalayi Hamid, and Yusuf‘ali, the son of Haj ‘Abbas. The mahr is thirty five tumans, some of which has, along with some household furnishings, been received by the bride.

Marriage contract of Khavar Sultan Khanum and Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, 1910
Marriage contract of Khavar Sultan Khanum, the daughter of Aqa Muhammad Mahdi, and Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, the son of Haj Zayn al-‘Abidin. The mahr is a Qurʼan manuscript valued at five tumans, forty tumans cash, fifteen misqals of pure red gold, six mans [unit of weight] of copperware, carpets and rugs worth twenty five tumans, qalamkar bedding worth six tumans, some pieces of land and orchards, and a walnut tree. These were transferred from Haj Zayn al-‘Abidin to his son, Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, and then became part of the mahr. In August 1911, several testimonies concerning the mahr were added.

Marriage contract of Gawhar al-Saltanah and Fath‘ali Vaziri, 1918
Marriage contract of Narjis Khanum, known as Gawhar al-Saltanah, the daughter of Shahzadah Mubashshir al-Sultan, and Sultan Fath‘ali Khan [Vaziri], the son of [Bibi Khanum Astarabadi and] Musa Khan Mirpanjah [Vaziri]. The mahr is 750 tumans, a Qurʼan (worth 10 tumans), a mirror, and two lamps. Of this, the bride received 250 tumans, the mirror, and the lamps, while the remaining 500 tumans adn the 10 tumans (the value of the Qurʼan) were charged to the groom.

Marriage contract of Gawhar Shad and ‘Ali Akbar Nazm al-Dawlah, 1923
Marriage contract of Gawhar Shad Khanum, daughter of Khabir al-Saltanah [and Aqdas al-Muluk Mu‘izzi], and Mirza ‘Ali Akbar Khan Nazm al-Dawlah, son of Mirza Muhammad Khan Majd al-Saltanah [and Iqlima ‘Adl]. Mahr was a Qur’an, thirty five hundred tumans (eight hundred tumans of which has been paid), two brilliant diamond rings, a pair of lamps, and a mirror.

Marriage contract between Kubra Khanum, the daughter of Hamzah ʻAli Bayg, and Taqi Khan (who works in municipality), the son of Yusuf Khan Tabrizi, dated May 2, 1925. The mahr is 130 tumans, of which the bride received 50 tumans and the Qurʼan and 80 tumans were charged to the bridegroom, a Qurʼan worth 5 tumans, a mirror, and a crystal base.

Marriage contract of Shah Baygum Khanum, daughter of Jibraʼil Bayg, and Muhammad Bayg, son of the deceased Mashhadi Ismaʻil Bayg Shaykhanqi, dated December 26, 1918; the mahr is 200 tumans, bedding worth 10 tumans, an ewer and basin worth three tumans, and a gold ring worth five tumans. The attorney is Ashjaʻ al-Sultan.

Marriage contract of Mah Sultan Khanum, daughter of Muhammad Ibrahim (son of the late Muhammad Muhsin), and Aqa ‘Ali [illegible], son of Mashhadi Qasim (son of Mukhtar [illegible]). The mahr is seventy-six tumans and two thousand five hundred dinars. The couple agreed that fifty tumans of the mahr, to be spent on women's clothes, copperware, cloths and [illegible], rugs, and house furniture, would be paid to the bride on the night of the wedding. Written by Ghulamriza from Shiraz: "first, I have to wait for Makhluqah Khanum to graduate from the American school; second, Makhluqah Khanum has a right to annul the marriage contract after her graduation; third, if Makhluqah Khanum consents, a second wedding ceremony has to take place; fourth, providing everything needed for the wedding and Makhluqah Khanum's house, her mahr, and share of inheritance; and fifth, if these conditions are not met, the marriage contract will be null."
